Creative or Logical??

There is the ISIS, called the most difficult puzzle ever. It sure had put many minds and brains to test, but here is something that’ll put the two halves of your brain confronting head-on for supremacy? Asking your witty bit to decide which half of it was more dominating, helping you figure out things, and did you always figure them out correctly.

It is the test of the Right brain with the Left brain, and it’s time to concentrate, not on the lady, but her movement, that’s gonna decide the rest. If you see her moving clockwise, then you’re using the creative side of your brain, that is the Right. Whereas, if you see her move anti-clockwise, then you’re using the logical part of your brain, that is the Left.

Well, for me its clockwise everytime i watch this clip. But people around me here say it keeps changing for them(even while watching it). Im glad that im totally a creative guy and not an unstable one ;-) But i tried to find how people watch it anti-clockwise and DAMN! i couldn't get the logic. Whatever!!

Ok, time to test yours, so go ahead and give a try.. DONT FORGET TO VOTE!!

BE REALISTIC huh? :-)

Latitude & Longitude

DEFINITIONS:
Latitude, usually denoted by the Greek letter phi (φ) gives the location of a place on Earth (or other planetary body) north or south of the equator. Lines of Latitude are the horizontal lines shown running east-to-west on maps. Technically, latitude is an angular measurement in degrees (marked with °) ranging from 0° at the equator (low latitude) to 90° at the poles (90° N or +90° for the North Pole and 90° S or −90° for the South Pole).

Longitude, symbolized by the Greek character lambda (λ), is the geographic coordinate most commonly used in cartography and global navigation for east-west measurement. It is the angular distance measured east or west and usually expressed in degrees (or hours), minutes, and seconds, from the prime meridian, defined to be at the Royal Observatory, Greenwich, in England, to the meridian passing through another position on the earth's surface

( CONFUSING HUH? Jus read it twice and you'll get it.. ;-P )

But, what's with this now??
In my last post, i mentioned it like "these numbers down here" and gave the position of my home(12°49'43.17 N 79°42'17.95 E). It sounded little weird when i wrote like that but i just kept going with it. Later, last night, i googled it and came to know what these numbers are all about.

Incredible India!

Well, its been quiet around here... been busy - for a good reason.... and the reason issss....

The photographic Society of Madras invites photographers from all over the country, both amateurs and professionals, compete with their best pictures...

Sections:
  • Streets at night
  • Water
  • Emotions
  • Flora & Fauna
  • Monochrome
  • Temples of India

And my choice is 'Temples of India' which made my travel expenses very low as im living in the temple city, 'Kanchipuram' which has more than 100 temples in it.

Prize money :

  1. Rs. 10,000
  2. Rs. 7,500
  3. Rs. 5,000

So, i started roaming around some of the oldest temples here in my town with my uncle's Canon PowerShot A620 which has a pretty good lense. And moreover, Rahul is quiet pro in Image editing with Adobe Photoshop..

I will upload the photos in my Flickr page after the last date of submission :-D (copyright issues :-D)

visit www.photomadras.org for more details

PS: I have been making a closer note at the temples and sculptures this time

PS: Taking outdoor photos with skylight little professional

OMG!! Its paining...

A set of workouts for my cough muscles, side hips and lower back for half an hour after running for 20 mins in the treadmill and on the same day - roaming inside spencer plaza(chennai) for around 3 hrs which went on with worthless window shopping - made me to look exactly in this position (often) now...

ya ya.. its exactly how i look when i try to sit down on a chair or get up.. I cant even walk normally, damn it!!

ITS PAINING LIKE HELL!!

PS: The pain, been there for a week, got intense

PS2: I stopped going to gym

60 seconds to fame!

Well, to start off with something interesting, take a look at this pic
